School Spirit

The idea of school spirit is the students at any school having pride in their school. But Palmdale Highschool has next to none. When spirit week comes around, this school is lethargic and lazy at best. Almost 10% of the school actually participates and half that percentage is ASB. But even the ASB is lazy. The last spirit week we had was not very well advertised. Our last pep rally was not peppy at all. How can it be improved? Maybe the stunet body can have even a little pride inour school. Our football team is not bad at all. We have an extremely good soccer team and basketball team. Our swim team rules and our baseball team is great. That's a big thing to be proud of. I think Palmdale Highschool should get it together and give a cheer for our school!

They changed my life!

Music has a powerful impact on our generation. Almost the whole teenage generation has an iPod or zune, etc. Albums are getting to be extinct. Playlists become more and more common each day. On my playlist right now i have an obscene amount of songs. One hundred and seventy three to be exact. One band that has stuck through all that competition is All Time Low. Their first CD was only ok but their new CD and espeicially their new single "weightless" is the greatest. It's funny and spunky but also has a behind the scenes of the band vibe. At the core it's about someone who wants something more, to move on. It has impacted my life on the level that not all bands are pricks and they care enough to tell their fans that. You should listen to the song. It'll blow your mind.

The palmdale high school football game

Okay, so Palmdale high went up against Kennedy high and Palmdale conquered! The game an a high note and was a great game to start off the season. Palmdale, my school, won 50 to 7. Oh yeah! I myself was working the concession stand and got a good view of the game. Everyone was hyped up for the first game of the year and excited to be there. I know I was. The cheerleaders kept the crowds attention and gave their spirit and encouraged others.
